William Davis, MD, is a preventive cardiologist whose unique approach to diet allows him to advocate reversal, not just prevention, of heart disease. He is the founder of the Track Your Plaque program and the author of Wheat Belly, Lose the wheat, lose the weight. After trying to find a way to help his patients avoid heart disease, Dr. Davis decided to make some unique nutritional interventions that defy conventional wisdom. He comes on Bulletproof Executive Radio to talk about those interventions, and how you can avoid heart disease by changing your diet.

Zingbo
Is there any downside to sautéing veggies in butter instead of melting the butter on them?
Steve
I find “reduced” glutathione at my local health food store. One type is called L-glutathione. Is that close enough? And what’s the recommended dosage?
Ron
Can the caffeine in energy drinks contain toxins and if so is it high? Also, they say the ingredients in the 5-hour energy drink are safe. Would love to know your insight on it.
Brian P
How does coffee affect Vivance (for ADD) users? I am hoping to get off of Vivance completely but it is helping quite a bit at work.
Andy
Do you know of any validated study data to support grounding?
Aren’t we grounding ourselves every time we touch something that’s earthed? Like a metal post on the street while waiting for a bus.
I’m open to walking around my local park bare foot but don’t know how to rule out placebo effect without some equipment to measure charge.
Also, I did my regular 1 hour high performance cycle class at the gym today but was fueled by MCT oil. I I had more and longer lasting energy. I got a stitch though we almost never happens for me. I need more data so will keep testing this.
PS: My wife banned me from putting chunks of butter in my coffee. Help me convince her it’s safe.
